The Shepherd’s Center of Chesterfield hosted their 6th Annual Afternoon Tea Party last week at Chester Baptist’s Great Hall in Chester. The beautiful crisp fall Saturday afternoon provided the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of beautiful hats and fellowship for our area ladies. The Tea Party Fundraiser benefits The Shepherd’s Center of Chesterfield, a non-profit interfaith organization, that offers free, accompanied transportation, in-home handyman services, and low-cost classes to adults over 50 in Chesterfield and the surrounding communities. More than 150 guests enjoyed tea, delicious traditional teatime fare and wonderful camaraderie. Tony Zevgolis, 2013 Senior Idol, serenaded guests with his high energy rendition of “My Way” to everyone’s entertainment.
