October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office is showing its support by wearing special pink badges all month long.
The deputies ordered and paid for the badges themselves with proceeds from the sales being donated to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation and the Firefighter Cancer Support Network.
Additionally, two sheriff’s office vehicles were detailed with the pink “Fight Like a Girl” logo.
