Red Cross Club community clean-up

Each March, the Matoaca High School Red Cross Club chooses a family requiring assistance with outdoor yard maintenance. This year the club assisted a Chesterfield resident removing leaves and other debris from their yard and flower beds. Working in such perfect weather, three hours later, the club managed to fill 89 large leaf bags for pickup at the curb. The club takes pride in a community service project well done.
