RoboHawks robotics team of L. C. Bird High School won the Virginia first robotics district competition March 13 in Blacksburg and also received the “Gracious Professionalism” award for helping other teams fix their robots. Next stop for the RoboHawks is the district championships April 9 and 10 at the University of Maryland.
L.C. Bird High School is the specialty center for the Governor’s Academy for Engineering Studies.
