Interested in making your home and garden more sustainable? Just sign up for the Landscape for Life educational series. Classes meet once a week for six weeks on Tuesdays, April 5 through May 10, 6:30 until 8:30 p.m.
Participants are taught how to create and maintain healthy and beautiful landscapes by using native soils and the climate to minimize impacts on our local watersheds. Through the classes, homeowners learn how to evaluate and work with the natural systems interacting on their own properties. Then, they use this knowledge to create and maintain landscapes that benefit their families and communities.
The classes will take place at the Chesterfield Cooperative Extension Office, 6807 Mimms Loop, Chesterfield County complex. The program cost is $75, which covers class materials.
