The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to solve two commercial robberies.
On Sunday, April 24, at approximately 10:40 a.m., a male suspect wearing a white mask and a purple and red bandanna on his face approached a clerk at the Food Lion at 20821 Woodpecker Road. He passed a note to the clerk demanding money, and fled the store toward University Apartments after receiving the cash.
On the same day at approximately 9 p.m., the same suspect tried to rob the Burger King in the same shopping center. As the suspect slid the note to the cashier, the cashier ran toward the back. The suspect took the note and left empty handed.
The suspect is a black male who appears to be in his early to mid-20s. He was approximately 5 feet 6 inches in height with a thin build. Pictures of the suspect can be seen on the Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers website, www.crimesolvers.net.
