CHESTER – Henricus Historical Park invites seniors and coordinators of adult groups and clubs to participate in a guided site tour to preview activities of newly developed Adult Education Group Programs Thursday, Sept. 29. Two of the programs begin officially by January 2017. The Two Lives of Pocahontas program starts in September 2017. Group guided tours are available at any time with pre-registration. These education opportunities will be available for adult groups and clubs.
The three-hour open house, which runs 2 p.m. – 5 p.m., is designed to highlight the historic site and give visitors a glimpse of the new Adult Group education programs there. Admission is free for all adults. A donation to the Education Scholarship fund is kindly requested. Registration is recommended in advance of the open house by calling (804) 318-8797.
