On a crisp Saturday morning, the Matoaca High School American Red Cross Club, FBLA and TSA joined forces to beautify the school’s courtyards.
These three clubs have been doing this for the last five years. Twenty-five students, one parent, four teachers, and one alumnus worked hard at weeding Oct. 15, clipping overgrown shrubs, and spreading landscape fabric and a lot of mulch to keep the courtyards beautiful for the entire school community to enjoy. “A hard job well done,” said Librarian Maureen Cheatham.
