Family and friends gathered in the Matoaca High School library to congratulate Ethan and Clark Beach on signing their letters of intent to attend and swim for the University of Florida, Gainesville.
Ethan and Clark swim for Richmond’s Quest swim team and both competed in the U.S. Olympic trials in Omaha last summer.
Clark just returned from Japan where he represented the U.S. National Junior team.
Both young men are coached by Dudley Duncan and John Smithson and specialize in the 100 and 200 meter backstroke events. To date, neither Ethan nor Clark has declared a college major. Pictured above are Ethan and Clark Beach with family and coaches.
