This holiday season, Haley Buick-GMC is partnering with the Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Christmas Mother Book Committee through a literacy initiative, “Books in Buicks = Bucks.” The book collection program will empower over 1,800 community children, birth through middle school, with literacy. In addition,
Haley Buick-GMC will donate to the Christmas Mother program a dollar per book for the first 500 books collected.
New children’s books are especially needed because they will be given as gifts. Gently read books also will be used to build and enhance home libraries. Members of the community can donate books at the Haley Buick-GMC showroom, 9831 Midlothian Turnpike, throughout the month of November. In December, the books will be given to children in low-income community homes.
