Tickets on sale for Woman’s Club fashion show

CHESTER – It’s spring and the spring fashions are in. The Woman’s Club of Chester has scheduled its annual spring fashion show and luncheon April 7.
Hoping for a little warmer weather for spring casuals and dresses, ”Fashions Al Fresco” fashion show and luncheon will be held 11 a.m. at the Chester Baptist Church, 4317 School St.
Tickets are $25 and may be obtained by contacting Gayle Murman at (804)748-7695.
“Share the afternoon with your friends enjoying fashions, lunch, door prizes and raffles,” club member Marion George said. “Fashions are provided by Peebles Department Store in Colonial Heights.”
The club is also soliciting donations from local businesses to be raffled off at the show. To make donations, to provide coupons or gift cards contact Marian George at 804-357-7201.
This is the club’s biggest fundraiser. Event proceeds will be used to support scholarships for area high school students.
