Bernice Elder Bennett, of Tyler’s Retreat on Iron Bridge Road, will turn 100 years young April 25. She and her family had looked forward to having a birthday party. Due to the coronavirus they are unable to do this, but the family looks forward to celebrating her birthday at a future time. Her family, relatives and many friends are sending their love, hugs, kisses and best wishes.With a heart of gold, a century worth of wisdom and experiences, and a mind worthy of a 1,000-year-old, she is indeed extraordinary.
