The Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia (CHSV) and Chesterfield Parks and Recreation will present “Daniel Trabue: Remember the Revolution.” The event at Magnolia Grange, to be held at noon Saturday, Sept. 24 is part of the Saturday Lecture Series program, whose goal is to further provide both historical and educational programming in an effort to increase awareness of the historical site.
Noted interpreter William Richard Rose will be portraying Daniel Trabue. He will be reflecting on Trabue’s French Huguenot ancestry and early life in Chesterfield County. Rose will also be sharing details about Trabue’s service during the American Revolution and exciting life as a settler on the Kentucky frontier.
