Matoaca High School driver education students participated in “Cinema Drive,” an interactive 3-D safe driving experience Wednesday.
Matoaca High is one of eight Virginia high schools to host the program, which is designed to help teen drivers with important highway decisions
on the road. Students were provided with an interactive experience covering speeding, fatigue, seatbelt use, peer pressure, texting, and alcohol use as these elements relate to driving. The purpose of the program was to help students internalize the importance of their choices to drive safely and prevent crashes. The 90-minute presentation will be followed with six weeks of interactive experiences.
