On Sunday, June 12, four shootings into occupied vehicles involving the use of BB or pellet guns occurred in Chesterfield County. They all occurred between noon and 4 p.m. The first two incidents were in the area of Old Hundred Road near the Brandermill subdivision. The third shooting was on Genito Road near Hull Street Road, and the fourth was on Philray Road off of South Arch Road. Each year, Crime Solvers highlights about 50 unsolved cases through its “Crime of the Week” releases. Many other cases, including cases with quality surveillance images, are submitted to the program to be highlighted, but cannot be featured because of time constraints. Crime Solvers is asking for your help to solve a grand larceny out of Colonial Heights. At approximately noon on May 15, two males entered the Slip-In Shell in the 400 block of Southpark Boulevard. One of the men approached the counter to distract the clerk while the other man went into the business’ back office. The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program is asking for your help this week to solve a cold case homicide. Just before 12:45 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2014, officers responded to the 3300 block of Meadowdale Boulevard for a report of multiple shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located two adult male shooting victims. One of the men, David Emmanuel-Sinclair Copeland, 23, of the 3300 block of Meadowdale Boulevard, died at the scene. On Sunday, Feb. 14, at approximately 1:30 p.m., a woman ran into the CVS located at 629 Boulevard to pick something up. She took money with her, but left her purse in her car. Unfortunately, someone took advantage of the opportunity and took the purse from the car.
