Crime Solvers is asking for your help to solve a robbery. On July 21, a man entered the AutoZone located at the 360 West Plaza. He immediately walked up to the register, placed his hands in his pockets and demanded cash. The clerk complied and handed the suspect money from the register. The suspect then fled the area prior to police arrival. The suspect is described as a white male, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with an average build. Shooting leaves one dead, one injured in Ettrick

At about 8:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, Chesterfield police responded to the 3100 block of Dupuy Road for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, police located two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were transported to Southside Regional Medical Center. One man later died. Chesterfield County Police have released the identity of the man as a result of a shooting as De’Sean R. Harrison, 24, of the 100 block Piedmont Avenue in Colonial Heights, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other man suffered non-life threatening injuries. Power of Pink raises $2,660

Bank of McKenney’s Power of Pink Challenge raised $2,660 last Friday for the Massey Cancer Center. A suggested $10 donation to add pink to their hair will be used locally to help cancer patients in Richmond and surrounding areas. The local salons donating their services were Pilo Arts in Colonial Heights, The Village Hair Studio in Matoaca and Jinny’s Family Hair Salon in Prince George.
