County firefighters are riding in style, a new paint and body style that comes with the delivery of several new fire engines and four new tankers. The units aren’t just for oohing and aahing over, but are fulfilling a specific need in the county. The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program is asking for your help this week to solve a robbery On March 16, 2015, at approximately 9:45 p.m., a man entered the Dollar General at 14501 Spruce Ave. After briefly walking through the store, he approached the clerk, displayed a pistol and demanded money. More Than 4,400 Students Receive Diplomas

More than 4,400 Chesterfield students received their high school diplomas June 4 through June 8 during graduation ceremonies at VCU’s Siegel Center. Only one high school principal is retiring: This year’s graduation was Principal Steve Cunningham’s 11th and final Matoaca High School graduation ceremony; he has worked 36 years in Chesterfield County Public Schools.
