O’Dell, of the 1200 block of Wycliff Court, was last seen by family on the morning of April 29 at his residence. He spoke to a relative via phone at about 6 p.m. on April 29, and said he was leaving his residence to visit a friend. CHESTERFIELD – The Chesterfield County Police Department has released the identity of a man who was killed in the 4900 block of Burnt Oak Drive on Sunday, April 29. Police said Breland O. Poole, 19, of the 3900 block of East Broad Rock Road, was shot multiple times. Poole was transported to a local hospital, where he died. Police continue their investigation into this incident. The Stoney Glen South Homeowners Association surveyed our members in April of 2018 regarding their support of, or opposition to, the proposed Matoaca Megasite. The community voted overwhelmingly against the proposed heavy industrial megasite. The elected board of the Stoney Glen South Homeowners Association is firmly taking a stand against the megasite and the proposed north-south connector. The proposed heavy industrial site is in conflict with the county’s comprehensive plan and is incompatible with the established residential communities located in the area. CHESTERFIELD COUNTY – Police are searching for a male suspect who robbed a woman at the Wells Fargo Bank at 7300 Jefferson Davis Highway around 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 23. No one was injured during the robbery and no weapons were displayed. Police said the suspect approached the female as she was entering the bank and grabbed a bag that she was attempting to carry inside to conduct business. CHESTERFIELD COUNTY — The Chesterfield County Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded late Thursday night, at 11:02 p.m. to the 3000 block of Woodworth Rd to the report of a house fire. Fire crews arrived to find a brick ranch-style home with heavy fire involvement. It took fire crews about an hour to get the fire under control. The house suffered significant damage and one occupant received a minor injury but was not transported to the hospital. The Chesterfield County Fire Marshal’s Office determined the fire started on the outside of the house because of discarded smoking materials.…

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY – Chesterfield County Police have identified the body of a man found on Saturday, April 14, in a wooded area in the 21600 block of Chesterfield Avenue in Ettrick. The man has been identified as Biniyam J. Eddington, 19, of the 3300 block of Main Street in Chesterfield. The body was discovered on April 14 at approximately 9:30 p.m. with the assistance of the Petersburg Bureau of Police and Virginia State University Police.
