L.C. Bird High School would like to announce the L.C. Bird Basketball Skills Camp 2015. The camp, which will take place from June 15 to 19, is for girls ages six to 16. The camp will be headed by L.C. Bird’s Coach Chevette Waller, who has over 15 years of coaching experience and is dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of basketball.
Special features of the camp will include opportunities to learn from outstanding coaches and players, compete and learn as you put your lessons to use in full-court games, boost your confidence and your game, improve every part of your game and win prizes and competitions. There will be guest speakers and $5 picture CDs available.
Basketball Camp will be held at L.C. Bird High School. Campers should be prepared with a T-shirt, shorts, and basketball shoes. Campers may bring a bag lunch or purchase lunch for $3, which will include sandwich/pizza, chips/fruit and a drink. Camp lasts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mondays to Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to noon, Fridays. The cost of the camp is $100 per camper, or $90 if pre-registered.
