Small Ruminant Field Day at VSU

Anyone interested in raising small ruminants (goats/sheep) for meat or dairy production can learn about state regulations governing small ruminant slaughter and processing during Small Ruminant Field Day.

Free and open to the public, the field day is being conducted by Virginia State University’s College of Agriculture on Friday, Sept. 18 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the school’s Randolph Farm, 4415 River Rd., Ettrick.
