Fairs and open houses offer specialty center information

To help students and their parents learn about the variety of high school options, Chesterfield County Public Schools will hold two information fairs plus open houses at every specialty center and governor’s school. Students who choose to apply to a specialty center or governor’s school do so in eighth grade, so middle school students and parents interested in learning more about these high school opportunities are invited to these events.

Information fairs offer general information and give families a chance to visit booths, ask questions and pick up information. All 13 specialty centers, both career and technical centers, both governor’s schools, CCPS Online and the Transportation Department of Chesterfield County Public Schools will participate in two information fairs:

  • 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12 at Manchester High, 12601 Bailey Bridge Road
  • 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at Monacan High, 11501 Smoketree Drive
