Community Involvement

I grew up in Chesterfield, I have seen change throughout the years: Larger highways, stoplights, new subdivisions and many new restaurants. As I drive throughout Virginia for work I see much of the same as small towns connect by concrete, Chick-fil-A and Walmart.  Many times I sit down to eat at the new restaurants in some small town in Virginia.  But it’s not the same. No one stops me to ask about the family, to chat about friends, to share their troubles. For me it’s the familiar faces that make Chesterfield home.

Many years ago John Erbach came to visit the Rotary – he said it was on the advice of his grandfather that you need to get involved in your community. John did just that, as a faithful member of the Rotary as well as serving on other civic and non-profits boards. John offers his talents and knowledge to his local community.

While John’s great attitude and business savvy make him a great choice for School Board; his three daughters in the counties public schools have him vested. He is there as a parent gaining firsthand knowledge of what makes and breaks Chesterfield’s school systems. Because he knows one day his children will say “I grew up in Chesterfield.” That’s why I encourage you, if you live in the Dale District, to vote for John Erbach this November 3rd.
