NOVEMBER 21 – Community Thanksgiving Dinner hosted by Bermuda Baptist Church located at 13912 Jefferson Davis Hwy. Dinner is from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Groceries will be given out to anyone in need. Everyone is welcome.

NOVEMBER 30 – Swift Creek Mill Theatre presents a production appropriate for preschoolers, “Drifty’s Christmas Countdown,” at 10:15 a.m. and noon November 30 through Dec. 22. Ticket information – 748-5203.

DECEMBER 4 – Experience Christmas with a Walk Through Bethlehem. Follow the star to the city of Bethlehem and celebrate the birth of Jesus. Experience the sights, sounds, and smells of life in this obscure town. Hopewell Baptist Church, 401 N. 2nd St., Hopewell. (Tours begin every 15 minutes). Friday, December 4, 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.; Saturday, December 5, 4 p.m.until 8 p.m.; and Sunday, December 6, 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Free but a voluntary donation of a canned food item will be gladly accepted and given to the Hopewell Food Pantry.

DECEMBER 7 – Chester Community Chorus Christmas Concert. 3 p.m., Chester United Methodist Church, 12132 Percival St., Chester. Free.

DECEMBER 13 – eChester Kiwanis Christmas Parade, starting at Chester YMCA and ending at Chester Village Green. 12 p.m. 2 p.m.

DECEMBER 21 – The Metro Richmond Zoo presents its annual Miracle of Christmas: Live at the Zoo, a re-enactment of the Christmas story featuring animals from the zoo, with performances at 7 p.m., 7:45 p.m., and 8:30 p.m. through Dec. 23. Gates open at 6:15 p.m. metrorichmondzoo.com.
