The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program is asking for your help to solve an arson case. On Nov. 14, 2015, fire crews and police responded to 325 Courthouse Road and discovered corrugated plastic pipes burning in close proximity to the new Chesterfield County library. The newly constructed library sustained heavy damage due to heat exposure. Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set as no other fire sources were discovered in the area.

Crime Solvers, Chesterfield County Fire and EMS, and police are now turning to the public for assistance in solving this case. Due to the value of the damage sustained to the library and its grounds, an anonymous tipster could receive a significant case reward for information helpful in resolving this incident.
