WINTER PICNIC – 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Enon Library. This interactive story time event is baed on the book “Winter Picnic” by Robert Welber. The library is hosting a winter picnic inside the library with snacks, fishing, science and crafts.

ZENTANGE – 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Central Library. Learn the art of Zentangle, a meditative way of creating complex, free-flowing abstract designs using repetitive patterns and shapes. Learn to create areas to pattern and add shading effects and see how to use your design on fabric and needlework. Register online at library.chesterfield.gov.

BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING – 3 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Public Meeting Room, 10001 Iron Bridge Rd. Chesterfield County is governed by a five-member Board of Supervisors elected by district. The Board of Supervisors appoints a county administrator who directs the county’s day-to-day operations.
Sessions typically begin at 3 p.m., break at 5 p.m. for dinner, and then resume at 6:30 p.m. The Board will adopt is meeting schedule for 2016.
