Historical Society to Present Lecture on the History of Currency

The Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia (CHSV) will present a lecture on the History of Currency during the American Civil War at historic Magnolia Grange House Museum on Saturday, February 20, at noon.

Mr. Parry Bragg, currency dealer, member of the Virginia Coin Club and Board Director with the Richmond Coin Club, will be the guest speaker. Mr. Bragg will talk about the history of currency during the 19th century prior to and during the War.
