Experts in a wide variety of coins, stamps, and paper money will be on hand and willing to share their knowledge at John Tyler Community College in Chester on Saturday, March 19. The Central Virginia Coin Club (CVCC) will hold a coin, stamp and collectibles show. Parking and admission are both free. The show will be open to the public from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Many items will be bought and sold at the show. If you collect, have a question that you would like answered, or have a handful of old money that you’d like to learn more about, stop by and ask an expert.

Table applications for dealers along with additional club information for potential members can be found at http://www.centralvirginiacoinclub.org/services.html.

The CVCC holds meetings at 6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of every month at Dante’s Pizzeria in Colonial Heights. The next meeting is March 15 and everyone is welcome.

The CVCC is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancing knowledge of numismatics among its members and promoting a better understanding of the hobby with the general public. Our meetings begin promptly at 6:30 pm, but we invite members to come at 5:00 p.m. for great food, social and professional networking. Our meetings usually consist of a short club business discussion, then a talk on an area of collecting, followed by a coin auction. All interested people are welcome to attend. If you have questions, contact Paul at [email protected].
