Following his 35-point performance in the state championship game against Potomac, L.C. Bird senior guard Charles Falden picked up his second offer from Mount Olive College in North Carolina. This offer comes after the an offer from Virginia Union on December 30.
Falden’s development took off following a stint on junior varsity where he averaged 25 points per game as a sophomore. A tough guard who can score off the dribble and that possesses a dominant mid-range jumper. He recently took his SATs, with qualifying scores and it is possible that Falden will receive a flurry of offers, possibly from Division I institutions. Radford has shown interest in the senior, along with some schools from the MEAC (Mid Eastern Athletic Conference.
Averaging 16.4 points per game to lead the team, Falden was also third in rebounds at about six per game and second with nearly two steals per contest.
