Columbia Gas of Virginia has provided a $5,000 grant to the Chesterfield Food Bank in helping reduce the number of neighbors in our home town who go hungry each and every day.

“The number of people in our community who are food-insecure continues to be a great challenge,” said Brent Archer, Columbia Gas of Virginia’s President. “We hope that this contribution will help provide the needed meals for children, families and seniors so they can live in dignity and without hunger.”

In the past five years, Columbia Gas of Virginia and the NiSource Foundation have provided more than $1.7 million in charitable contribution across the Commonwealth.
