In collaboration with Capital Ale House, the Henricus Foundation presents the third annual Hops in the Park festival at Henricus Historical Park on Nov.11 from Noon to 6 p.m. This one-of-a-kind premiere harvest festival features Virginia craft beer, Virginia hops farmers, a Virginia farmer’s market, and of course, Virginia history.

Headlining the musical entertainment, local favorites Jackass Flats will take the main stage at 3 p.m., with Markiss Blowfish and Rick Hollowell performing during the day. Learn about the history of Virginia hops with Old Dominion Hops Cooperative, and view demonstrations of brewing then and now with the Henricus interpreters and Mentoring Advanced Standards of Homebrewing.

Visitors can purchase VIP passes from Capital Ale House to get the full experience! Those who purchase this $55 VIP pass will get to enjoy extraordinary benefits such as VIP parking, private bathrooms, an expanded outdoor and indoor VIP space, a limited-edition mug with one free pour, six beer tickets, special limited craft beers exclusive to VIP, a hearty rustic food platter, and an artisan appetizer buffet.

“This isn’t your average beer festival,” said Charles L. Grant, Henricus Historical Park Executive Director. “Hops in the Park is a truly unique experience that can be enjoyed by the entire family.”

Additional top sponsors for Hops in the Park include RJ Smith Companies, Emerson Companies, and Haley Buick GMC. Proceeds benefit the Henricus Historical Park Children’s Fund and Old Dominion Hops Cooperative.

There is no charge for admission for Hops in the Park. Food and beverages will be sold on per-item basis.
