The Chesterfield- Colonial Heights Christmas Mother program hosted a live/silent auction on the evening of Nov. 4 at the Cultural Center of India.
Around 320 people were in attendance. The auction was sponsored by a local businessman, and the proceeds go directly to the Christmas Mother program to help children and elders have a better Christmas.
WRVR-TV news reporter Wayne Covil was the auctioneer for the evening.
Guests enjoyed heavy hors d’oeuvres, adult beverages, and delicious cupcakes while listening to lovely live Christmas music provided by Kris and Christa Helms. There was a wide range of items for bidding in both the live and the silent auctions.
