Do you know a principal who goes above and beyond in their school to provide a positive learning setting for students and staff? Nominate an outstanding principal for the R.E.B.Awards for Distinguished Educational Leadership.

These awards recognize principals who go beyond the day-to-day demands of their position to create an exceptional educational environment. One principal from each local school system – those represented will be the counties of Chesterfield, Henrico and Hanover counties and the city of Richmond, is honored annually.

The Community Foundation of Richmond and the R.E.B. Foundation oversee the awards. For nearly 30 years, the two bodies have worked in partnership to promote excellence in public education. Through awards programs for public school teachers and principals, they seek to honor those individuals who work tirelessly to ensure that youth have the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in school and in life.

Nominations are accepted from the school community and the community at large. Each winner will receive $7,500 for his or her own use and $7,500 to use for a school project. Information about the nomination process and the nomination form are available tcfrichmond.org/Grantseekers/Awards/REB-Awards-for-Teaching-Excellence.
