COLONIAL HEIGHTS – A field full of more than 200 flags will be on display in front of the Dunlop House Assisted Living facility in Colonial Heights through Monday, Nov. 12.
The field was prepared in cooperation with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2239 to honors veterans.
Attached to each flag is the name of a veteran from Virginia who died while serving since 2003.
In addition, an early Veterans Day ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9.
The flag field is free and open to the public for viewing.
The Dunlop House is located at 235 Dunlop Farms Blvd.
