The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program is asking for your help to solve an arson case. On Nov. 14, 2015, fire crews and police responded to 325 Courthouse Road and discovered corrugated plastic pipes burning in close proximity to the new Chesterfield County library. The newly constructed library sustained heavy damage due to heat exposure. Investigators determined the fire was intentionally set as no other fire sources were discovered in the area. The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to identify a suspect trying to pass counterfeit bills. On the morning of Saturday, June 15, a man was at the counter of Boulevard Flowers, 2100 Ruffin Mill Road, ready to pay for some plants. He handed the clerk what appeared to be a military ID, but when the clerk asked him what branch he served in, the man could not answer. The man pulled money out to pay for the plants, but the clerk identified the money as counterfeit currency. The man took the fake bill back and paid…

On Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, two men entered the Bellwood Federal Credit Union located at 7101 Jefferson Davis Highway. They immediately approached the teller, presented a firearm and demanded cash. No one was injured during the incident. The first suspect is described as a black male, about 6 feet 1 inch tall with an average build. The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to identify two suspects involved in a robbery and shooting. During the evening of Wednesday, September 23, a Chesterfield County Police officer saw two male subjects acting suspiciously in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and Walmsley Boulevard, near the Richmond City border. The officer watched the males engage in suspicious activity which was later determined to be a robbery of a person at the Rainbow Motel. This week, Crime Solvers is asking for your help locating Thomas Garrett Wells. On Oct. 1, police responded to a domestic incident at a residence located near the 700 block of Bristol Village Drive. The victim reported that she was attacked and choked by her boyfriend. She identified him as Thomas Garrett Wells, who escaped the area before police arrived. The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to identify and locate two bold shoplifting suspects. On Monday, Sept. 7, at about 4:30 p.m., a white male and white female worked together to steal women’s undergarments from the Victoria’s Secret in Chesterfield Towne Center. Surveillance cameras later revealed the female suspect was pulling clothing from display racks and putting it into a large bag being carried by the male suspect. What the investigating officers did not know at the time was that just prior to stealing from Victoria’s Secret the same two suspects had stolen numerous clothing items from the Hollister store in the…
