The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to identify a suspect trying to pass counterfeit bills. On the morning of Saturday, June 15, a man was at the counter of Boulevard Flowers, 2100 Ruffin Mill Road, ready to pay for some plants. He handed the clerk what appeared to be a military ID, but when the clerk asked him what branch he served in, the man could not answer. On Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, two men entered the Bellwood Federal Credit Union located at 7101 Jefferson Davis Highway. They immediately approached the teller, presented a firearm and demanded cash. Deputy Fire Chief Mark D. Sacra will retire from the Chesterfield County Fire and Emergency Medical Services Department on December 1, 2015. Deputy Chief Sacra graduated from Recruit School No.10 in November, 1979, and has faithfully served the county for over 36 years. The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to identify two suspects involved in a robbery and shooting. During the evening of Wednesday, September 23, a Chesterfield County Police officer saw two male subjects acting suspiciously in the area of Jefferson Davis Highway and Walmsley Boulevard, near the Richmond City border. The officer watched the males engage in suspicious activity which was later determined to be a robbery of a person at the Rainbow Motel.
