After a standout senior season for the Monarchs, Lorenzo Minter’s talent has earned him an offer from Vance-Granville College.

Minter was a great facilitator for the Monarch’s this season, averaging seven assists per game to go with nine points and three rebounds per game. His defense is another great aspect of his game, as he typically guarded the best ball handler on the opposing team, averaging three steals per contest.

He has been getting interest from multiple JUCO schools, but this is his first official offer. The senior earned honorable mention honors in region 5B.

“Lorenzo came to Meadowbrook in his senior season and did a great job as the facilitator. He was definitely the missing piece to our puzzle this past season and did a great job of blending in and taking on every role asked of him.” said Meadowbrook boys basketball head coach Sam Bryant.

“His points production wasn’t as high as it was when he was at Colonial Heights, but when needed to hit big shots he delivered every time.”

Vance-Granville went 3-25 this season, and two of their wins came against NJCAA opponents.
