Four displaced after vicious house fire
0Two adults and two children escaped a fast spreading fire July 17 in the 6800 block of Autumn Point Drive. It all began around 9:08 a.m. Flames could be seen coming from the roof of the home. Residents evacuated while firefighters were on the way. All occupants were able to escape safely. Fire and medical personnel from Dale, Centralia, Bensley, Buford, and Airport fire stations, along with three fire marshals, two battalion chiefs and a tactical safety officer along with county police, responded. One hurt in Chesterfield house fire, five displaced
0One juvenile was injured and five occupants displaced when fire ripped through a residence at the 2030 block of Willis Road, July 6. A large column of smoke rising in the air greeted responding crews. Captain Joe Harvey,Deputy Fire Marshal, NREMT-P of Chesterfield Fire and EMS said the scene upon arrival was heavy fire showing from a two story single family dwelling. The occupants self-evacuated while rescuers were en route. A juvenile, one of the occupants from the residence, suffered smoke inhalation,was treated on scene and not transported, Captain Harvey said. The fire was marked under control at 7:18 p.m.…
