A local duo comprised of two Thomas Dale alums have been carrying a large portion of the offensive load for the Tigers in 2016. This past Thursday, Hampden-Sydney exploded for 16 runs in a victory over Lynchburg. A pair of sophomores, Maurice “Moe” Gothe and Brian Goodwin delivered the brunt of the offensive break out. Obediah Stith, a tough guard for Matoaca picked up his first college offer to play at the next level. Life of the Civil War Soldiers at County Museum

The Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia (CHSV) will present a family-friendly drop-in event at the County Museum on Saturday, April 16. Stop by anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to learn about the camp life of Union and Confederate soldiers, and their uniforms, equipment, food, military drills and pastimes.
